At NourishMe, a light filled store on Main Street in Ketchum, Idaho customers can find everything from organic seasonal produce, locally made and grown foods, bulk seeds, nuts and fruits as well as a wide variety of supplements, wellness products, gluten-free foods and organic cosmetics.
Julie Johnson opened NourishMe in June 2010 in order to bring her love of nutrition and local food to the community in which she lived. Based on her own cooking, and experiences living in France for more than a decade, her concept was to bring organic farmers’ produce together with a well stocked store full of supplements and other wellness products.
A certified Nutritional Therapist, Julie feels she’s been working toward this career all her life. As a child, when "I pulled my first carrot out of the rich, moist, dark, soil of the Pacific Northwest, I knew good, clean food would be my life," she says.
Among the products that are made and sold at the shop are Julie’s much sought after Julie Food crackers made from raw foods, and specialty fermented foods such as kefir, sauerkraut, kombucha and kimchi.
NourishMe creates daily, nutrient-rich, organic, deli-style foods to go or eat in. Try our ever popular grilled sandwiches and daily soups.
Organic products are brought in from Waterwheel Gardens every Tuesday. They set up inside the store from 12:30 to 4:00. Other local producers drop of local dairy, eggs, microgreens, and grass fed meats such as lamb, beef, pork, bison and chicken. These are sold daily at NourishMe.
